The International Biennial of the Poster in Mexico is a civil association founded in 2011 with the aim of creating an international project dedicated to the poster with the premise that it's a very effective means of transmitting messages. It also plays the role of collecting information in order to document the history of graphic design. The poster biennial has been conceived from its origins as a platform for the exchange between creators, where projects are born or benefit a better visibility.

An International Poster Competition

The International Poster Biennial in Mexico is one of the three oldest in the world, and the precursor of its kind in America. Here ideas become projects through the international poster competition, where visual creators converge. Every two years, BICM organizes a poster event in Mexico. BICM has been a precursor of the educative format and a leader in the implementation of technologies. It initiates young people in the teaching of design as a transforming environment.
