Workshop “Museology in Quebec and Mexico: looking for common grounds”

On Monday, April 1st, 2019, the workshop "Museology in Quebec and Mexico: looking for common grounds" will be held at the Montreal Center for History (Centre d'Histoire de Montréal). Four Mexican museologists will present the main features of Mexican museology, including its challenges, its educational dimensions and the public's involvement. Participants will be able to see how these characteristics compare to the specificities of the Quebec museology, and discuss them briefly.

This workshop is organized by UNAM-Canada as part of a two-year project of the Quebec-Mexico Working Group (GTQM), funded by the Ministry of International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec.

Simultaneous translation will be available during the day. Conferences are open to the public, but registration is required. Please send an email to confirm your attendance at lbuenerd@unamcanada.com
