These workshops are designed to complement the 8 Levels of Spanish, ECO and Dialoga en español courses. Suitable workshops are offered on a variety of subjects for beginner, intermediate and advanced students.

Reading, grammar and writting workshop

The workshop aims to improve students’ Spanish vocabulary, grammar, and sintax. Perfect your ability to read in Spanish and reflect on and assess the selected readings, narratives, or stories.

Course duration: 12 2-hour sessions once a week
Pre-requisite: level 7 of Spanish (B2)

Conversation

These workshops are designed to enhance fluency, vocabulary, grammatical precision and pronunciation through guided work and semi-spontaneous oral presentation (e.g., role playing, presentations, interviews). For all levels.

Course duration: 12 two-hour sessions.
Fee: $230 (tax and materials included)

Grammar

These workshops help students of all levels to resolve complex problems, doubts and the most common grammatical errors. The workshops are hands-on, using examples and exercises that apply to both oral and written communication.

Course duration: 12 2-hour sessions once a week.
Fee: $230 (taxes and materials included)

Theatre

This workshop develops students’ oral skills and introduces them to the basic elements of acting. At the end of the semester, they can participate in a short play.

Pre-requisite: Intermediate level of Spanish (B1)
Course duration: 2.5 hours once per week for 12 weeks
Fee: $260 (materials and taxes included).

Writing Workshop

At the end of the eight sessions of this theoretical-practical workshop, participants will be able to differentiate the discursive modes, better understand the writing process, better use the spelling and punctuation rules, use a variety of discursive markers and learn about various bibliographic resources. At the end of the workshop, the student will have improved his writing, regardless of the level he started with, thanks to a method that combines a theoretical and multidisciplinary approach with practical exercises. Prerequisite: This workshop is recommended for native Spanish speakers or students of advanced Spanish as a foreign language (C1-C2 level) who wish to improve their writing in Spanish.

Duration: 8 sessions of 2 hours; February 3 and 17, March 3, 17 and 31, April 7 and 21 and May 12, 2017
