Pronunciation Workshop

Good pronunciation helps understand others and express yourself in a foreign language. In this workshop, participants will learn the main phonetic and prosodic aspects of Spanish pronunciation, as well as how to identify and correct their own mistakes.
The course consists of two modules:

1. Consonants
2. Vowels, stress, intonation and rhythm.

Each module includes 9 hours of in-class instruction. Modules can be taken in any order.
At the end of the two modules, participants will have the necessary tools and skills for better Spanish pronunciation, which in turn will improve communication. Although more emphasis is put on Mexican Spanish, other varieties of the language are also addressed. The main focus is on the more challenging aspects of Spanish pronunciation for Anglophones and Francophones.
