Workshops for Specific Purposes

These workshops are designed to complement Spanish programs like “Spanish in 8 Levels”, “Spanish for Oral Communication” and “Dialogues in Spanish”. Every year we offer workshops on a variety of topics for beginner, intermediate and advanced students.
From October 29th to December 9th
Registration and placement test
from October 15th to 18th
Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and
4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For a placement test, arrive at least one hour before closing time.
Payment deadline is October 18th.
Deadline for a 75% refund is November 5th.
Duration: 6 sessions of 2 hours each

Writing workshop
Participants will review and practice the use of different discourse modes and markers, orthography and punctuation. They will be able to better understand the writing process and improve their writing skills no matter their previous experience.
Prerequisite: level 7 of Spanish or C1

What if you learn to tell the stories around you in a creative way?
This workshop will help you discover the storyteller in you through the tools of theater and dramaturgy.
This is a workshop designed to exploit the different ways of telling your stories in a fun and informal environment. From the texts developed during the course, the invitation will be made to participate in the theater play "Identity Construction" with your personal stories. The workshop will be taught by Helen Cruz, degree in Dramatic Literature and Theater.
Prerequisite: level 7 of Spanish or C1
